colorado springs and colorado city are NOT the same town.
i never really thought they were, of course, but for some reason, i keep getting the two mixed up.
i've never been to either place.
colorado city is famous because it's known as a polygamist town. ever heard of warren jeffs? this was his home. it's actually IN arizona, not in utah, but it's a border town... about 4400 people live here...
colorado springs, on the other hand, is the second most populous city in colorado. more than 370,000 people live here. it's been ranked as one of the best places to live.
i reckon colorado springs is a nicer place to live than the high desert of colorado city.
