Check... Check... Check... can you hear me in back, and yes July sucks!

I currently hate the month of July. It is HOT as (insert four letter word here), and I am busy.
  • New neighbor with kids the same ages as my kids... check
  • Various family functions I wish I could avoid... check
  • Garage sale (wtf was I thinking?)... check
  • Work (that I honestly haven't even touched at all and will haunt me now)... check
  • Creating a new site for our blog (I also haven't even done this at all this week)... check
  • 105 Fahrenheit... check
  • Cleaning out the garage with my husband today... check/groan

Shoot me now.

What I wanted to do all week was actually just take the week off. I planned for this week to be a vacation and I didn't do any relaxing at all. I can't wait to work tomorrow. It will be a break.

my new-ish workout plan

my new work out plan is this:

35 minutes of heart pumping exercise every day for 30 days

AND yoga doesn't count?!

so... now i'll tell you how i'm doing thus far... i just finished day 9. i'm trying to switch between biking and running so as to not kill myself from the get go. thus far, i'm doing great. i might even start to like the run. and today's run was made all the more better by listening to the Savage Love Podcast. it's like his column but people call in and he rants while answering sex questions. makes for good laughs while sweating your ass off and such.

so i got this idea about blogging about the fitness plan (yes, i know, no one's ever thought of it before- call me revolutionary) when i heard this effing lame story about a lady blogging away debt. now, not that posting your spending, to the penny, for all the world to see isn't motivation to get your shit together and pay off ass loads of credit card debt, because it is. scrutiny is always rough. but it made me think about this other story i heard (i am a talk radio and podcast junkie) about a woman doing the same sort of thing but asking people for money to help her pay off her credit card debt.

let me be forthright about this... i think donating money towards a good cause, such as the Barfuss kids coughing machine (which i donated to) is fantastic. and as americans, we're great at coming to the rescue with money when it's needed. but, seriously! asking total strangers for money to pay off your credit card debt because you don't know how to live within your means seems totally uncalled for. in my opinion. plus, i don't think it gets to the heart of the spending problem and likely, that lady just continued to spend without any other consequence.

maybe i'm totally wrong. and maybe my complaint makes me a complete and utter bitch. but whatever.

either way. i'm totally off subject and thought i'd blog about the fitness plan to keep me motivated to keep it up! so stay tuned for random posts about it.

the search for a new place blows

this post is going to seem extremely trivial, coming as it does after the Isis & Phoenix Barfuss Rigid Spine post. let me apologize now.

i want to take this opportunity to complain about searching for a new place to live. i loathe the search. it may be that i am extra picky. i have lived in a wide variety of apartments and know what i want and what will suit me. but since the home break in and subsequent car theft and recent car stereo theft, i have to add the parking situation (e.g., is it off street? is there a garage? etc.) to the list of questions and requirements for a place.

but it seems that most places with garages are not so fond of letting me keep my gordo gato (we all know he's going wherever i go). others tout the availability of off-street parking which basically means a small parking area that is easily accessible and not necessarily secured but is just not on the street.

so safety is the most important aspect of the new place. next is the kitchen counter/cabinet space. I have yet to figure out why it is that most rentals are lacking in these vital (to those of us who pretend to cook) components. i've seen pictures of places that have great counter space but they are either located in an area of town that i don't want to live or (once again) are discriminating against me (not really.. i understand why some landlords don't want to allow pets) for being a pet owner.

what to do? what to do?

to date, i've looked at 5-8 places and not one of them gave me the 'aha!' moment i've been searching for. i have another two (at least) to go and check out today. one w/ garage and one w/out but w/ gated access. both are located near nice parks and allow the gato.

maybe i need to tone down my requirements. i mean do i really need ass loads of kitchen counter space? food storage? a place other then the bathroom for the kitty's litter box? a nice storage area for my bike and other sentimental stuff? i would LOVE to find a great 2 bd place where i could eventually put a small desk for my computer (instead of sitting on le bed) and use for storage of above stuff and winter-ish clothes.

i guess having the rest of the month to look gives me some space but i'm not to sure that i want to do the 'hey it's july 31st and i'm moving out of my current place and into the new place and then have to go back and clean the old place' all in the same day. if you'll remember, such things are a HUGE pain in the ass.

ok. rant over.

i'll keep you posted on the search results!

Religion in Politics?

The history of the United States is somewhat complicated. I admit freely that I am particularly forgetful on key points. One of my good friends is an history teacher at a local high school. He often quizzes me about important American history facts. I fail every time. Miserably even.

I do know that our forefathers and ancestors immigrated to the colonies to to better their lives. Many of them wanted to free themselves from religious persecution. In a perfect world that would have happened. Yet religion was often still an issue.

Today it is still an issue.

"Mitt Romney for President in 2008? Should I vote for him? I hear he is a Mormon..."

I personally believe that it doesn't matter what religion someone believes in, as long as they are a good person. I even know agnostic people that I believe are great, and even some atheist. I cannot personally vouch for Mitt Romney. I do not know him. I also have not followed his political career. To be honest, I haven't really paid attention to any of the candidates for president. Guess I should pay attention.

To my point...

I am just really annoyed that Romney's religion is more of an issue than the issues he represents. I am completely unaware of what religion, if any, is practiced by the other presidential candidates. Are they Catholic, Baptist, Buddhist, Scientologist or what? Does it matter? Really? I would think that the job they would do is much more important. They are actually applying for a job. It happens to be a very important job, but a job. I know believing in God is very important to most Americans. I know that their President believing in God is also important. It represents the majority.

Mormons happen to believe in God. If you didn't know this... surprise! The fact that many people do not realize this still stumps me. I know that Catholics also believe in God, as do Baptist, even Southern Baptist. Y'all can just thank me later. Scientologist happen to believe in L Ron Hubbard. If Scientologist happened to believe in George Lucas... you could just sign me up now. /wink

In conclusion, please pay more attention to what issues your candidate is representing than what issues others bring up about them. I do not know who I will be voting for in 2008, but I do know I will be watching very closely at what each candidate says about the other candidates. In Utah I am a minority as I happen to be a Democrat. I am also very liberal for Utah. The other day I was even called a "Godless Liberal" by a family member. /sigh I may be a liberal, but I am not Godless.

narrated in my best eeyore voice

i had a rough day today. i don't want to go into too much detail, because it's mostly personal, but i figure it will help to write about it as much as i can. /end eeyore voice, enter crazy bitch voice

i really, truly hate horrible people. i hate people who don't have a genuine bone in their body. i don't understand why human beings do awful, spiteful, DISHONEST things to other humans. i am not talking about murder...rape...violence. nothing like that. this isn't that bad. those things are much worse. but this is just the lowest of low..

it's people who are 110% selfish, you know? they suck the LIFE out of you, out of everyone around them, then take even MORE if people let them. they lie, cheat, steal, and then lie some more to cover up their tracks.

are you confused? yeah, probably. i am sorry about that. all you need to know is that i am pissed. i don't dare make any of this public because there are kids involved and they don't ever need to know about this. at least not from my mouth. they'll figure it out on their own when they grow up...i hope.

also, we won't be house shopping anytime in the very near future. it's not going to happen and my dreams are more than crushed. i want a home. a place that's MINE. not just a place where i borrow space for a monthly fee.

i want to cry, but somehow, i am managing to NOT. probably because i am so damn MAD.

paul and i are fine. my kids are great. don't worry about any of that. does anyone know where to hide bodies where they'll never be found??

i've got nothing to say...

these days.

i've been busy. i've been working my ass off. i've been coaching soccer, helping jake with scout badges, taking care of a post-surgery cat, cleaning, cooking, folding laundry, weeding, working, improving my golf game, watching "deadliest catch" and worrying i am forgetting to do something, somewhere.

i'm tired just typing all that shiz.

jenna has some kind of weird bite on her leg. it's infucted. i had to do some minor surgery on it tonight...NOT fun. she was pretty tough, though and the prognosis looks good. do NOT tell her this, but i am 99% sure it's a spider bite. i might get to pay HER medical deductible this year, too! yay me!! gross warning: don't read any farther if you don't wanna be grossed out... but i squished so much pus out of her leg tonight that i think she's reached pus quotas for 2007. round 2 tomorrow, i am sure. i'll keep you posted...it doesn't look serious right now, but i will definitely take her to the doctor if i need to.

jake scored four goals in his game tonight. one of them came from an awesome penalty kick he got to take. he's got some hot sauce on his kicker and he sure enjoys being the star. next month's project: humility. i promise.

yeah, right.

my utility company sent me a shut-off notice. this in SPITE of me paying my bills every month. something's whack with my e-payments online. great. like i have time for this shit.

paul and i may be house shopping very soon. if you'd like to donate, you can email me and i'll send my mailing address. ha ha ha!! anyway, it looks like we'll qualify for a mortgage, but i am not getting my hopes up toooo soon. i know better than to do that.

peace out. sorry i've got nothing to say these days. why doesn't someone give me a topic? that would help immensely!!

April Showers... yeah right!

So it is snowing outside right now. The really wet, cold, big flake type of snow. /shivers
I am not happy.

Jess is not happy.

Both of our kids will NOT be happy... not during their soccer games in a few hours. Soccer in the snow... not my idea of a fun time. Not at all.

It is really cold. REALLY REALLY COLD. I have to stress this.

Can you tell that I am grumpy?

and now for something we hope you'll REALLY like...

**edit** i was multi-tasking while i wrote this... i realized that, in re-reading it, that i could have done a much better job organizing my thoughts and expounding a bit in places. oh well, i am not changing it now. it's done. published. finito. i'll save it for a later post.

today i wanna share my two cents on some recent news happenings. i often feel i post too much about pop culture, but that is my secret obsession. also, for several thousand reasons, i don't want to be toooo personal in such a public venue.

i am a libertarian. i am pro choice, but i would never have an abortion. i think marijuana should be legal, but i probably wouldn't smoke it. often. i believe that the things that don imus said, while incredibly stupid, racist and downright idiotic, are protected by our Constitution. they also aren't any stupider than some of the really stupid things jesse jackson and al sharpton have said. i believe in the right to bear arms. but i don't think you should own a machine gun, take your gun to church, or keep loaded weapons in a house with children. i think the democrats who keep preaching about reducing energy costs (like john kerry) should shut their big fat mouths and sell all but ONE of their houses. i believe in global warming, but i am not sure i believe it's 100% attributed to man. mars is warming up, too. and last time we checked, no one lives there. i don't like george bush at all, but i don't want to be president, so i don't complain too loudly. i also absolutely detest nancy pelosi.

most politicians suck.

i believe that most people want to be good, but i believe that everyone lies to save their own ass. or to save someone else's feelings. and i don't believe there is anything wrong with that. i believe that i am a moral, ethical person, even though i don't go to church. i believe the shootings in VA are a tragedy...an eye opener...and i feel very sad for all the families, friends, staff, faculty and students at V Tech.

i'll stop there. a moment of peace for peace.

4.04.2007

sheesh. i feel totally loved...

so i'm reading up on the latest entries in this here blog when i spy the new recipe of the month. hmmmm. what is it? i wonder.
Parmesan cheese... noodles cooked til tender..
why it's lasagna of course. WHAT!!!! /does a double take.
LASAGNA!
what happened to the split pea with curry soup recipe i sent to jess a few weeks ago to be the recipe of the month (this is where i start to feel totally used and taken for granted by the other writers). so, i don't know anything about writing code and i sure don't want to run the risk of effing up our set-up (which i LOVE btw)

but i can't submit a recipe. is it because it's meatless? no, i included instructions for the rest of the world. is it because it's too long? maybe
or maybe jess just really likes to cook italian foods. example. feb- spaghetti, april-lasagna.
see where i'm headed with this.

all i'm saying is that just cuz i'm not witch'all in logan doesn't mean i can't submit a recipe.

life lesson # 27

resist the urge to flip off other drivers.

you never know - the driver MIGHT be a plainclothes officer driving an undercover car.

did this actually happen to me?????

yes, it did.

i was sitting at a light, waiting for my green arrow. they recently added a second turn lane, but no one was waiting in that lane. the green arrow pops up, and i start to turn. i am in the outside lane, when all of a sudden i hear a horn honk loudly. i did what any complete bitch would do and without thinking, hung the car a nicely manicured middle finger. classy. in my defense, the car was NOT there when i started to turn and the horn honk scared the hell out of me.

so, this car wrenches over behind me and i signal to turn right about a 1/2 block from my left turn. the car follows me and flips on the old red n blues. just bitchin! it's really just my day! of ALLLLL the people in the whole world to "flick off" (my kids call it that) i choose an undercover cop.

i pull into a parking stall and wait. the dude gets out and i can see his shirt and tie...no uniform. shit. i have no idea what's going to happen next. the following is a re-enactment that may be shown on COPS on some future saturday night.

jess: you scared the hell out me!!

policeman: well, that's a new turn signal and i thought you were cutting it a bit close.

j: i apologize for my ladylike actions. you just scared me and that was a natural reflex. (insert lots of way too loud nervous donkey laughter)

p: i pulled you over because you have a broken windshield.

j: yeah, i know. i can't afford to fix it. (thinking yeah RIGHT. you pulled me over cuz i FLICKED YOU OFF!!!) /more loud donkey laughing. listen, i AM really sorry about the bird.

p: that isn't the first time i've been flipped off and i highly suspect it will not be the last.

j: well i am sorry all the same.../coupled with even MORE donkey laughing. eff, could i just GET OVER IT ALREADY??

p: look into getting that windshield replaced and have a good evening.

j: thanks!

make NO mistake - i am blaming this entire episode on Qwest!!! the ONLY reason i was in that damn neighborhood was to take that fucking modem that i never ordered back to the effing UPS store.

FOR REAL...QWEST SUX!!!

guess what i got yesterday???

a package in the mail!!! woooo hoooo! who doesn't love getting mail?

qwest, in all their glory, send me a DSL modem that I NEVER ORDERED!!!!!! OMG!!!

so... i call them up AGAIN to complain. the following is an ACTUAL conversation:

ryan, qwest associate: how can i help you today?

jess, qwest hater: today i received a DSL modem that i never ordered.

r: oh..heh heh. you ordered it.

j: /complete silence. (i'm already pissed... he has no idea what i've been thru already.)

ryan swiftly moves along to account permissions, etc. this includes address verification. turns out he works at the qwest right here in logan, so he is familiar with where i live. bitchin, right?! apparently, he thinks this makes us buds. he moves on...and wouldn't ya just know it...we graduated from the same high school!! i don't tell him that, i just say, "that's nice," with a shut-the-fuck-up-before-i-put-your-nuts-in-
a-vice tone.

j: am i getting charged for this? do i have to pay to return it?

r: no, i'll get this taken off of your account.

j: your company is seriously the worst in services in my book. numero uno. i got stuff i never ordered and then most of the technical staff i have ever dealt with from qwest are really incompetent.

r: well, you should know that when you ordered this service, you didn't order it from qwest.

j: what? what do you mean i didn't order it from qwest?

r: yeah, those types of orders are handled by external third-party contractors.

j: i don't care WHO handles the orders. i was under the assumption i was ordering qwest services from qwest. which means i think qwest sucks. maybe your third parties need better training. as far as i am concerned, i ordered from qwest, and i didn't get what i wanted. i called to remedy that situation and i STILL didn't get what i wanted. now i have a DSL modem that i have to be bothered with to return. i am wondering if i got all these services i didn't order so that some sales rep could meet their quota for the month.

r: i apologize for that. and because they are a third party company, they don't have sales quotas the way qwest reps do.

j: with all due respect, your apology means nothing to me. qwest is a rotten company and i am sorry you have my business.

r: you richmond girls are fiery. my buddy's fiance is from richmond.

j: (live i give a rat's ass WHO is buddy's fiance is) interesting.

r: well, here's a confirmation number for you. you'll need to write this 139 digit number (ok, an exaggeration, but it's effing long) on the label then drop it off at any ups location.

j: i have to take it to ups? they won't come pick it up???!??!?

r: no, you can just take it to that ups store by albertson's.

j: that's just great. thanks.

r: can i help you with anything else?

j: nope, you've done quite enough.

r: thank you for calling qw...

i hung up on him. this company is a freaking joke. they stay in business by charging people for services they never ordered. their sales staff has to meet monthly quotas, or they get put on probation and could be terminated if they don't meet these goals 3 months out of 12. i work in sales and i know it can be a real roller coaster. you either have a stellar month where you just sell your ass off...or you have a month where nothing closes and deals fall through the cracks.

qwest sucks ass

yeah, you heard me. they suck. i have had nothing but problems with them on more than one occasion.

a few weeks ago, i switched to a higher-speed DSL connection. i had DSL before, but it was sloooow. so i upgraded. qwest has been advertising "prices for life" so i thought, hey... i'll switch now and get the price for life.

well, the problem with qwest that i have had is that i never get what i want the first time around. i always have to CALL back and iron the problem out with a customer service rep. then i feel like a bitch... and i don't like that. when i moved into my house almost 4 years ago, they didn't transfer my service correctly...and i was without the internet for almost 6 weeks. NOT cool at all when you are taking ONLINE classes at the university.

so, this time around, the rep asks me if i want qwest dsl with msn premium. i was like, well NO i don't want msn. i had a bad experience with msn once and i DON'T need an Internet Service Provider (ISP). i have one already...and i want to keep them. plus i am just anti-msn as a service provider for some reason. if bill gates would contribute to the "save jessica" fund, i might be convinced to tattoo msn with the msn butterfly somewhere on my body. a cool million would get msn advertising on the top of my left foot for LIFE.

but i have gone off track. meanwhile...back at the hacienda...

qwest's technical support is NOT good!!! when the big change was first initiated, i couldn't connect to the internet. so i called up tech support. the first woman i spoke with had a very thick indian accent and was impossible to understand. while i am sure she is just a lovely woman, she offered me no technical assistance whatsoever. she suggested rebooting my computer, resetting my modem and then told me i should wait an hour then try to reconnect. DUH! i had TRIED all of that!! i think she was secretly hoping i would go away. the second person i called, while MUCH better, treated me like i was retarded. here is our conversation:

him: "ok, so open up a web browser. it's probably a big E on your desktop."
me:: "can i use firefox?" (thinking to myself - NO SHIT SHERLOCK. GIANT E MY ASS!) "nevermind...ok... i have IE open."
him: "ok, is it open?"
me: "ummmm yeah. it is." DUH. didn't i just say that??!?!?
him: "ok, go up to the address bar. /pause you know what that is?"
me: "yeah, i think so. is that where i type?" (at this point, i am playing dumb. he is pissing me off)
him: "yeah, ok. so type http colon slash slash www"

what i heard... BLAH BLAH BLAH... when he got to the web address part, i typed that and hit ctrl + enter, and VOILA! http and dot com are added FOR you. AN INTERNET MIRACLE.

at least he got me connected to the vast World Wide Web.

so THEN i get my first bill. i got qwest with msn. they hosed me. i don't have my ISP for free anymore. if i want to change it, i have to pay a $200 early termination fee. so... i call this morning, they take care of everything, iron it all out... then switch me over to the DSL center so i can get the msn installation disk...cuz i should have gotten one. turns out they don't have me listed as a customer or even having DSL with qwest. (this is me, staring with an astonished look on my face!!)

what the hell is wrong with this company??? i mean SERIOUSLY. if i had a choice, i would switch to another company... but i DON'T.

the ONLY good thing about this was rebecca, the person i spoke with. she was smart and calmed me down a bit. i am sure she is overworked and underpaid. i think i am stuck with what i got unless i want to switch to the OTHER communications monopoly here in the valley. i won't even give them free publicity. here's a hint tho: they ALSO rip off people on their cable bills.

eff you qwest. i hope your company suffers severe stock crashes. and maybe rebecca can come work with me...

The "other" V word...

Yes, it was Valentines Day. A word I maintain is a swear word. I love a lot of family and friends, but having to go buy stuff on a certain day of the year is annoying. Expensive too. Jess and Al... consider this post a Valentine Card. /wink

Alone? Kinda. I did have my two kids with me almost all day. Then I had Loralee and Karen show up for a fun filled night of games. More on this at the end of the post.

Where was my husband?

Australia.

I did get to web cam with him today finally. The kids LOVED that. He is all nice and tan. Lucky guy. I am glad I made him go. He really needed to go. He doesn't realize how important he is to me. It has been easier than I would have thought having him far away, but I really do miss him. I have been lucky that my kids have behaved. It really is a new development. My husband does a lot of stuff for me. Changes lightbulbs, takes out the trash, wakes up and tries to stay awake with me when I have a terrible nightmare. You get the picture. With all we have been through I really do still love him.

In case he ever reads this blog... I LOVE YOU.

K, now to the anoying part of my day.
  1. I almost got hit by a HUGE truck today. A semi in fact. It ran a red light, and it ran it fast. Luckily I was somewhat awake and hit the brakes hard. I am also lucky I didn't get rear ended. The car behind me was also awake.
  2. I had TWO valentine parties to go to for my kids. Was late to the first one, and was late to the second one too. Once again, I was lucky I made it at all.
  3. My son called me from school. He was sick. Poor guy. Poor me. Poor my daughter. I had to leave her during her Valentine party at preschool to go pick her brother up.
  4. Both of my kids were invited to bday parties on Saturday. Both parties are at the same time. Which one do I take them to?

It really was just that type of day.

Now this evening I had a very good laugh. Did you know that "but I am still a virgin" could be used as an excuse for almost anything? I didn't. I am going to start using it. I might have to use, "but I still wish I was a virgin," as my excuse. Who knows. I'll see if it works. I played Rumikube tonight, then we read tarot cards. That was FUN. I really need to get more into that.

Well off to bed I go. I wish a Happy V Day to all of you out there. Thank you to all my friends, I love you all!

the importance of doing things in the right order

rant warning... I am going to RANT.

first, a little background. i would include links to the soon-to-be mentioned stories, but newspaper websites, recognizing that newsprint is DYING now charge to read from the archives, so it would be pointless. i will fill you in as best as i can with my ethical journalism background portraying both sides.

here's the gist: college students at Utah State really wish they had more options when it comes to affordable child care for their children so they can go to school.

translation: someone else should pay for it.

my rant: wait...before i get to that, i feel i should preface my rant with some background. some of you may not know my personal history and i don't want to leave you going, "HUH?" so i will do my best to fill in the gaps.

today, in our local newspaper (AKA the ward relief society newsletter) there was a story about how there is now free daycare provided one night a week so parents can "study" and assistance for low-income students to pay for off-campus daycare.

i am glad there is assistance available for those people out there who really need it. but people make choices, ADULT choices to boot...and then they want a hand out...they want someone else to pay for this, that and the other. the sense of entitlement some people have makes me nauseous.

now, onto my rant. when i was 19, i quit college (was too busy partying), got married at 20 and had my son when i was 22 and my daughter when i was 24. to make a long story short, when my marriage showed signs of failure, i knew i had to go back to school to ensure my long-term financial stability. i knew it wouldn't be easy, but i wanted to go back. i knew having my degree would be critical to my future success.

i also was working full-time. i had a job that paid very well for this area. this job had great health insurance and also offered tuition reimbursement. i didn't qualify for ANY government assistance at ALL and initially i wasn't getting any child support. about 50-60% of my weekly income went directly to my day care provider. i went to the state offices and asked if i could apply for day care assistance for JUST the hours i was to be in class. i was told no.

i checked into federal programs for single moms, pell grants, etc. but i made "too much money," by literally, $299 a year. so, i took out student loans. these loans paid for my day care, my books and for the fees and extra classes my tuition reimbursement didn't. and i am paying them back today. every cent. i didn't have options. i didn't have a night where i could go dump my kids off and "study." i bet these people who do this go eat dinner and take in a movie. i studied after work until 3 a.m. I wrote papers right here on this computer while my kids played next to me on the floor. i can't believe i got A's in my classes. i graduated right before my 29th birthday. i was on what i called the 12-year plan. it made my much younger classmates laugh.

the bottom line is this: i got married. i had kids. i made sure i had a job WITH health insurance. i CHOSE to go to school. and i had to pay the price for that choice. why is it that people think they should get married, pump out some kids without having any way to pay for them and then expect society to dole out cash so they can finish up their degree?

i expect i might make some moms out there angry.. whatever. i totally think women should be educated if they choose to be. but don't get pregnant by CHOICE, then cry because your husband works at borders making 8 bucks an hour and you are both going to school and you can't afford to pay your bills.
when did that become MY problem?? (no offense to borders employees. it's a great store.) so you'll accept the state subsidized handout, you'll live on medicaid for health insurance (that i subsidize with my taxes), and you'll get Pell grants that you don't have to pay back all to get a degree, then you'll stay home while your husband goes to work.

nothing wrong with staying at home. i wish i could. maybe that is where my bitterness comes in. i worked hard and paid my own way for my degree. WITH kids.

with that all said, i think someone (mom or dad, it doesn't really matter) SHOULD stay home with the kids. kids need that. families need it. it's better for everyone. but i made choices and for now, it isn't in my cards.

i cannot stress enough how important it is to do things in the right order.

thanks for letting me blow off some steam. i will accept donations to pay off my student loan, too. HA HA HA. and i am really not bitter. i am happy. i love my life. i love my $18k piece of paper that says i did it. i love my kids.

and i love you for listening.

xoxo
